How'd this blog get its name?

Well, I was visiting the reading room, enjoying the solitude that the toilet gives and reading National Review.

Dispensing with my business, I reached for the TP roll, to discover that there was only one square left. Visions of Sheryl Crow flashed into my head, as I hollered for my wife to bring some more upstairs.

Alas, she was outside and could not hear my cries.

So, I was stuck. I thought for a while about blogging, and decided to do it, while looking at that one square...that one useless square of toilet paper.

I'm new.

Well, the plan for this blog is for me, a Republican, to comment on the goings on in South West Ohio. Hamilton, Clermont, Warren, Butler...I'm here.

I'm looking forward to covering the 2nd Congressional District Primary, and the various races in Hamilton County, especially.

Also, I'll write about whatever I feel like.
